AV Device 3D Modelling
Three-dimensional modelling of displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, racks, plates and supporting AV equipment.
Revit and BIM
Craftify supports AV integrators with Revit models and drawing sets coordinated against architectural, structural and MEP information. The result is clearer documentation and earlier visibility of installation constraints.
Why Craftify
An AV model is useful only when it reflects the project environment. We place and document devices using approved design information, then review their relationship with ceilings, walls, structure, lighting, mechanical services, cable pathways and access requirements.
Our team can work within the client model, an AV discipline model or an agreed federated workflow. We maintain view organization, worksets, shared parameters, sheet standards and model hygiene according to the project BIM requirements.
Potential conflicts are communicated as coordination items for the responsible engineer or project team. This keeps technical decisions with the appropriate stakeholder while allowing issues to be found before they become site rework.
Typical deliverables
The exact drawing and model package is defined around your standards, project stage and approved technical inputs.
Three-dimensional modelling of displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, racks, plates and supporting AV equipment.
AV equipment reviewed in 3D against architectural, structural and MEP backgrounds to identify spatial conflicts.
Model-based floor plans and reflected ceiling plans with device tags, dimensions and installation notes.
Coordinated elevations and sections showing mounting positions, heights, clearances and equipment relationships.
Focused 3D views that communicate installation zones, access requirements and coordination conditions.
Consistent device schedules developed from agreed family data, parameters and project standards.
Working method
We confirm Revit version, BIM requirements, links, coordinates, scope and model ownership.
We place approved equipment and develop the required level of model and information detail.
We review relationships with architectural, structural and MEP elements and record concerns.
We develop sheets, apply review comments and issue the agreed model and drawing outputs.
Frequently asked questions
We confirm the required version before starting and maintain the project in that version to avoid unnecessary upgrades or compatibility issues.
Yes. When the relevant linked models are provided, we review AV placement against architectural, structural and MEP conditions and identify items needing project-team resolution.
We provide model-based coordination and can prepare focused clash or issue views within the agreed scope. Final clash ownership and resolution responsibility should be defined in the project BIM requirements.
Yes. We can work with your browser organization, view templates, shared parameters, annotation families, title blocks and sheet conventions.
